Learn how to use VPoll, our online voting platform!
In 2026, we will be voting for delegates for General and Jurisdictional Conferences. This means we’ll be engaged in extensive balloting, which could be time-consuming and frustrating if voters are having difficulty navigating VPoll, an online platform we’ve used for nearly three years now. With that in mind, here’s what to expect for 2026:
- You will be responsible for ensuring ahead of the AC Session that you are comfortable with VPoll.
- Each ballot should take only one minute or less, so there won’t be time to make decisions or solve tech problems once a ballot has been opened.
- If you’re joining the Session online, please be aware that our AC Help line folks can answer questions but they can’t solve tech issues–you’ll need to have resources available locally to address issues like wifi connectivity or firewall settings.
- If you’re joining the Session in person, note that you will still need a wifi-enabled device (probably a smart phone), and you’ll need to know how to use it to access the internet.
All voting members of the conference, whether in-person or online, will use VPoll. The video below gives a quick overview of VPoll, as well as our “Get Recognized” system.
*Please note that the video assumes that you’ve already been sent your Voter ID and VPoll access codes — in reality, these will be sent 48 hours ahead of the AC session.
Remember, preparing ahead of time is the best way to ensure you don’t miss a vote at AC! We’ll be moving through the ballots quickly, so be sure you arrive at the session well-prepared.

Sometimes VPoll can be tricky. You may have to refresh your browser, try a different internet browser (such as Chrome, Firefox or Safari). You may also need to login and log back out, too.
For those attending remotely, please check the following links to ensure your ability to participate:
- TEST your ability to Connect to Zoom here: https://zoom.us/test. For Annual Conference you should test your speaker and microphone. You will not need to use a web camera to participate
- CONNECT to the voting system via a webpage (internet browser)
Fast-Enough Internet
Your internet connection will need to be fast enough to use the video-teleconferencing app Zoom. If you’re able to watch YouTube or Netflix, or use video chat services such as FaceTime or Skype, then you should be able to use Zoom easily enough.
Navigate and Use Two Devices or Apps Simultaneously
The voting will happen through a secure website in your browser (Safari, Chrome, Edge, etc.). You’ll need to be able to vote without leaving the Zoom meeting. Because we all have different capacities with using internet-connected devices, and how many devices we have, it’s worth spelling out your options.
